'Buy Legal' campaign aims to convince NJ residents to consume licensed cannabis

Officials in the state of New Jersey are joining a new campaign aimed at encouraging the consumption of cannabis from licensed dispensaries.
The new initiative is a response to the growing illicit market for marijuana, even in states like New Jersey where it is legal for recreational purposes.
In addition to encouraging people to purchase from legal dispensaries, the new campaign aims to make people aware of the untested and allegedly unsafe products that may be available on the streets
Currently, adults are allowed to legally use and purchase cannabis in 19 states and Washington, D.C.
Voters will be deciding on the cannabis-related measures in five other states this Election Day.
