The brother of a Sacred Heart University football player who was killed in a crash hosted a camp to help other kids.
Cy Menard died about a year ago in a car crash on Route 17 in Saddle River. Authorities say the 19-year-old was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. It happened just as he started playing for Sacred Heart University.
Kensel Menard is on a mission to help other kids and says it has been therapeutic. The kids were reminded to always wear a seatbelt and to remember that no one is invincible.
More camps are in the works with a scholarship fund.
Cy Menard was dedicated to helping others and wanted to be a nurse.
