Bridgeport police: Vehicle passenger assaults officer after gun was found on him
Police say the incident started as a motor vehicle stop. One of the passengers, Kavon Roberts, ran when officers found a gun on him.

4h agoBridgeport police say they have arrested a man who they say assaulted an officer after he was found to have a gun.
Police say the incident started as a motor vehicle stop. One of the passengers, Kavon Roberts, ran when officers found a gun on him.
He then bit an officer while attempting to flee, police say. He was also carrying fentanyl.
Roberts is facing six charges and he's being held on $150,000 bond.
