Beaches down at the Jersey Shore will be open in Ocean County, including Brick Township, where crews are trying to make a trip to the shore feel as normal as possible.
Brick Township doesn’t have crowded boardwalks or take-out beachside restaurants to worry about, and Mayor John Ducey says that makes it easier to control.

Unlike other areas, they aren't expected to reach capacity, and daily badges can be purchased at the ticket windows at all of the public parking lots. The goal is to simply provide an experience that feels like any other summer.
"We have parking available, brand new parking lots,” says Mayor Ducey. “We have our snack stands open, the only thing we have is the social distancing. You have to be six feet apart from strangers, but beyond that, come down and enjoy yourself. Sit on the sand, a lot of places are limiting you can only walk. We have sitting on the sand, beach blankets, chairs and also swimming as well at Brick Beach One."
If you park in a lot and don't have a seasonal badge, the combined price will cost $13. Snack stands will be open this weekend and lifeguards will be on duty only at Brick Beach One.
