A food pantry that's been serving the Bradley Beach community for 40 years will temporarily close its doors on May 17 at 1 p.m.
The pantry has run out of St. James Episcopal Church since 1982 and has been looking to move to a bigger space since August 2023. A statement released about the pantry’s temporary closing says differing viewpoints with the church have made it hard.
The pantry will be open from Wednesday through Friday every week until it closes.
