Bogota students, staff raise money to sponsor water drilling in South Sudan

Middle school students and staff in Bogota are committed to raising money for those who need to take extra steps to make sure their water is safe to drink.

Bogota Middle School is helping out a good cause. Students and staff walked three and a half miles through the borough to raise money to sponsor South Sudan water drilling in East Africa.
Children in South Sudan walk three and a half miles every day to get fresh drinking water for their family.
This fundraiser is part of the Iron Giraffe Challenge to drill clean water wells in South Sudan.
