Police and firefighters launched a boat in the Passaic River in Newark Thursday to recover a body that was swept away by Ida's flooding.
It was found in the water near Route 21 North.
A second body was found Wednesday in the swollen river in Kearny.
Police have not released information on identification.
There are still four people missing one week after Ida.
