An exhibit featuring photos of singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is being shown at Monmouth University.
The photos were taken by Daniel Kramer, who was an up-and-coming photographer back in 1964. Kramer says that he persuaded Dylan's manager to allow him to take some pictures of the musician.
"[The manager] said, 'Come up to Woodstock next Thursday. I'll give you one hour,'" Kramer says.
That one hour ended up being one year and a day of taking photos of Dylan, a notoriously private person. Dylan became a rock superstar within that year.
"He changed the music business during that year. He recorded in June of that summer of '65 "Like a Rolling Stone," says Kramer.
The exhibit was put together by the Grammy Museum. It is on display at Monmouth University's Pollak Theater Gallery until Dec. 20. Admission is free.
