It is time for the best of New Jersey on a Tuesday here. And meteorologist Mike Rizzo is bringing us to Bloomfield this morning for a tour of three delicious restaurants. Just about 50 ft down the road from the Brookdale is this place Fannie's owned by the same group of owners. But this time we're with Anthony and Joey and this right here is a culinary experience. So, tell me what is this? So this is our bone marrow steak tartar. This is a prime sirloin tartar served with a Italian barbecue bone marrow. Which table side we serve just like this. So once that's on top, we actually offer now a whiskey shot through the bone. Get out of here. Come on perfectly. My brother. Today we'll be uh taking one for the team and uh taking the whiskey shot. Oh man. Not a bad test. Oh, this is wild. Look at this. Oh, this is amazing. You gotta check this out. That is awesome. So you have different types of Italian food here as well. You got this a it's like a luge. It turns, it turns into a luge. So what else do you have here? So on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we offer a family style meal that we call the family's feast and it's a large bowl of pasta with sauce or gravy, whatever you wanna call it. Um, it's got meatballs, short ribs and sauces in it. Uh, we offer garlic bread regatta and it comes with Zeppoli Total New Jersey meal right there. That's great. You know anybody who's grown up Italian in New Jersey or wanted to grow up Italian in New Jersey. It's great for them. So this is the place to check out right here in Bloomfield Fanny's. But let me tell you something. It's not just about the Italian dinner. There's a little secret. Here you go through the side door down the hall. You're immersed in a whole new place next door for dessert and dessert. Cocktails, lady fingers. I'm gonna tell you about that coming up.

It's Tuesday and time for the best of New Jersey. Meteorologist, Mike Rizzo is bringing us back to Bloomfield here this morning for a tour of three delicious restaurants. We started at the Brookdale, we went to Fanny's and now we're at Lady Fingers and this place is beautiful. It's like an experience just being in here. The vibe is great. We have amazing pastries. What have we got? So here we have a couple play on your really fun classic nostalgic desserts. So people are really drawn to them and kind of spark memories from their childhood. That's great. So Sara Lauren, they make all of this and this one right here is unique. What's that? So this is our everything biscuit. It's a little twist on the original. So we actually have pieces of cream cheese inside. So when you take a bite, you get those nice burst of flavor in there. That's amazing. It's so unique. We have also beautifully decorated desserts. I love that doughnut right there and the cookies, but it's not just about the desserts and the coffee. We have something special here. We have a dessert bar, a full dessert bar and Stephanie's making the drinks right now. So what is she making? So she's making our cocktail called Citrus Scott Real. It's our take on a Pisco Sour. Oh, I love that. It's like a lemon meringue pie. Feel when you drink it and that foam looks perfect as that drinks it pour. Look at that. And what's the drink next to her right there? So that's our Aunt Mary, which is our take on a Bloody Mary. We make the green juice and house ourselves. It's a green tomato based juice and it's so amazing and perfectly blended and we have some fun garnishes like a Pepperoncini and feta stuffed olives. So there's different types of cocktails that you could have here after dinner at Fannie's or after dinners at the Brookdale. So ladies, thank you so much for showing me your place. It is beautiful right here in Bloomfield. Thank you. Many might wanna escape the weather and have a little cocktail this afternoon this evening. Yes, at a place to go to. And you don't find in a lot of restaurants like that that are close to like a dessert bar, right? So that's a really, really convenient, awesome setup that they have there and they look delicious. It is, it's great for a rainy day. That's, that's a show, but it is a rainy day after all
