A man is charged with arson after investigators say he intentionally started three fires inside his home in Berkeley Township.

Prosecutors say George DiPierro, 70, set the fires on Harbor Court.

Firefighters were called Saturday afternoon and found one fire already put out on the first floor, while two others were still burning in upstairs bedrooms.

DiPierro is being held at Ocean County Jail ahead of a detention hearing.
