As the crowds start to pour in at the Jersey Shore for Memorial Day weekend, Belmar locals are preparing for the invasion of the summer renters.
Packed parking lots are a sign that summer has arrived along the shore. With the hundreds of renters, residents say the worst part is a trip to the supermarket. Between packed roads, parking lots and stores, some residents say they can?t wait for the summer to end.
Restaurants will most likely be crowded too. Some residents say they will be having a lot of barbeques to avoid the long waits at eateries.
Not all residents are annoyed by the crowds. Many say they are used to it and make due. As resident Lucille Hohn says, ?Everything takes longer. You pay your dues, if you want to live in paradise, you pay for paradise.?
