STORM WATCH: Strong, scattered thunderstorms on hot and humid Sunday in New Jersey

OVERNIGHT: Temperatures only drop to the mid-70s. Warm and breezy. Showers are likely with thunderstorms possible.
SUNDAY: Hot and humid. Temperatures climbing to the low 90s, with several rounds of thunderstorms possible. There could be several nasty rounds of this throughout the day. The more concerning rounds are in the late afternoon/early evening with ample heat and humidity juicing them up.
There is a scattered, severe weather risk that could include localized areas of hail, downpours, damaging wind gusts and the possibility of a tornado. This could linger into early parts of the overnight Sunday but will clear out by early Monday.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Much more pleasant with temperatures in the low 80s. Lows drop to the mid-60s.
TUESDAY: Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s, lows in the higher 60s.
