Police responded to a chaotic scene in West Hempstead when a person called 911 about someone showing a gun.

Police arrived at the home on Grand Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Jonathan Romage, of Baldwin, was allegedly found with a loaded handgun in a bag he was wearing.

During the investigation, police say a woman at the home, Alyssa Horgan, 20, kicked an officer.

News 12 has been told one other man was arrested after detectives say he tried to run from the scene.
