Police are investigating a dinnertime double-shooting in Elizabeth that left at least one man dead Tuesday.
According to police, the investigation is centered on a black Cadillac. Police say one man was found dead in the vehicle, shot in the back of the head. A second victim was seen stumbling out of the car and into an IHOP restaurant on North Broad Street.
After the man collapsed inside the busy restaurant, he was rushed to University Hospital. As of late Tuesday night, his condition was unknown.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from both the IHOP and a nearby office plaza.
