New Jersey has a reminder for high school football fans whose schools will play for championships this weekend - no tailgating.
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association on Monday reminded fans that its events are alcohol- and drug-free. Rules also bar tailgating, even though the football championship games are played at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands.
Executive Director Steve Timko says that schools agree that they won't tolerate a few people enjoying themselves at the expense of everyone else.
Timko says that even state championship games played at MetLife Stadium is "an extension of the classroom."
There are 10 high school championship games scheduled at the stadium this weekend
