Aphasia Awareness Month: Where help can be found
June is Aphasia Awareness Month – a disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate and can be caused by a stroke or brain injury.
The Adler Aphasia Center has locations in Maywood, Toms River and West Orange. The organization has been helping people with the disorder for the past two decades.
Actor and Carneys Point native Bruce Willis ended his acting career in March after being diagnosed with aphasia.
