AP: Biden calls to lower costs of prescription drugs

Pharmaceutical companies are making record profits off prescription drugs and those around the country are taking the brunt of that.
The White House is addressing the problem with President Biden, calling the dilemma "unacceptable."
"But the idea, the idea you can charge whatever you want,” Biden said. “It's just not gonna happen in the United States America if I have anything to do with it. If you think this doesn't affect you, it does, by the way, everyone has less money in their pockets today because of high drug prices, drug costs and health insurance."
Efforts to lower prescription drug costs have long been popular with voters, but bipartisan consensus has proved elusive.
