The third annual Free Kids Coat Drive was held Saturday to supply 200 new coats to children this winter.
Dozens of parents showed up at the Edge Lounge in Passaic for the new coats.
The giveaway was organized by Jessica Delacruz, the founder of the Certified Angels after-school program. Her nonprofit buys coats with the help from the Passaic police and fire departments, Bank of America and the Silver Star Lounge.
About 99 percent of the coats given away were brand new.
Certified Angels is accepting donations for next year's coat drive.
