A woman found wandering around a Bergen County community Wednesday, who claimed to have no memory, was identified by family members.
The woman, approximately 40 to 45 years old, was found walking along Livingston Street in Norwood. She said that she didn’t know her name, but believed that she had walked to New Jersey from the West Coast.
She said that she believed that she was in a car accident in Washington state. She also claimed to be a veteran who served in Bosnia.
Norwood police posted her photo on Facebook, a post which was shared 45,000 times.
Police say that the woman’s relative in Pennsylvania saw the post and contacted police. They are set to be reunited Friday.
Police have not yet released her identity and it was unclear how long she has been missing.
