Seven sea turtles, most of which are critically endangered, have been nursed back to health in New Jersey, and today, will back into the waters of Florida.

The turtles are going to Canaveral National Seashore in Titusville, Florida.
Of the seven, six are the critically endangered Kemp's Ridley sea turtles, the smallest of the group.
The other is a loggerhead.
The turtles have names like American Gladiators:
Wolverine, Kyle, Evan, Sage, Stella, Turbo, Misha.
All were cold stunned in Cape Cod Bay.
Kyle had fungal pneumonia and almost didn't make it, and Stella also would not eat or respond to treatment at first, but they've made full recoveries.
"It's a passion,” says Sea Turtle Recovery Co-Executive Officer Bill Deerr. “These turtles they need us, all the environmental changes that are going on, all the pollution in the ocean, these turtles have a huge battle ahead of them. They're almost gone so we do everything we can go save them. They're amazing animals and they deserve it."

With the release of the group, Sea Turtle Rescue will have released a total of 34 since they first started the nonprofit.
All the turtles have been microchipped so their progress can be studied.
