A traffic incident involving a pedestrian in Fair Lawn prompted a large response by first responders Tuesday morning.
The incident took place just before 7 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and 32nd Street. Jeff Angermeyer, chief of detectives for the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, confirmed that investigators from the Bergen County Fatal Accident Task Force were assisting Fair Lawn police with a “traffic incident involving a pedestrian this morning.”
Multiple police vehicles, as well as at least one ambulance and caution tape, could be seen at the intersection shortly after the incident occurred.
Angermeyer said preliminary details were still being gathered by law enforcement officers at the scene.
