Two juveniles have been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a June shooting and robbery in Winslow Township.

Camden County Prosecutor and Winslow Township Police reported that a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both residents of Sicklerville, were taken into custody after a weeks-long investigation.

Both teens face charges including first-degree attempted murder, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and fourth-degree tampering with evidence.

The charges stem from an incident on Wednesday, June 17, at around 9:59 p.m., when Winslow Township police officers responded to reports of gunfire on Locust Court.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle that had crashed into an unoccupied parked car. The victim was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Through their investigation, detectives determined that the two juveniles were responsible for shooting the victim and robbing him of a watch and other personal belongings.

The U.S. Marshals Service assisted local law enforcement in apprehending both suspects. The 16-year-old was taken into custody on Friday, July 17, in Winslow Township. The 15-year-old was apprehended on Monday, July 20, in Pine Hill by members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
