A large fire at a Pleasantville home has displaced the residents and their pets.
The Pleasantville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire along 122 West Glendale Avenue at 1:13 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Fire officials say once firefighters arrived they faced heavy fire within the two-family residence on the exterior front-right corner of the structure.
One resident sustained minor injuries and was treated and transported to a local hospital for their injuries.
Five adults and two animals were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
