Woman arrested after man found dead with a stab wound in Massapequa

Police say a 28-year-old man is dead and a 22-year-old female has been arrested in connection to a Nassau County police homicide investigation in Massapequa.
They say they found the man unconscious with a stab wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County police medic. Their investigation led to the arrest of the 22-year-old woman.
The identities of both have not been released by police.
Several blocks in a Massapequa neighborhood were closed as Nassau County police conducted a large-scale investigation. Neighbors said they first saw officers searching the area around Beaumont Avenue early Monday morning.
Helicopters whirled overhead for hours.
The scene is near Merrick Road and about half a mile from Massapequa High School.
Ambulances and the crime scene unit were on the scene.
Investigators were seen taking pictures of a car parked along Beaumont.
