Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the person responsible for a violent robbery that occurred Friday in The Bronx.
Investigators say the 38-year-old victim was walking on Barnes Avenue when a man approached him.
The man began to strike him with a brick repeatedly before snatching his wallet, taking around $300 and fleeing the scene on foot.
Police say the victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, light colored sneakers and a tan bookbag.
