2 Bridgeport man indicted for robbing Clinton jewelry store

A man was arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred at a Hillcrest barber shop on Friday night.

Officers responding to the scene on North Main Street found a 59-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

He was taken to Westchester Medical Center in stable condition.

The 50-year-old suspect was located shortly after and taken into police custody.

Authorities say it appears to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.

As of Saturday morning, no other details were provided.

The case remains under investigation.
