A Farmingdale man accused of trying to kidnap a teenage girl has been ordered to remain in jail.
Authorities say 35-year-old Quamel Benton tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl in Lakewood in March. Another teen started to scream, which is when Benton allegedly left the area without the girl.
Benton has been held in the Burlington County Jail since March 28 on unrelated charges.
