Route 35 has been fully reopened in Perth Amboy following a crash Monday night.
Police say the crash happened around 7 p.m. on Route 35 near Chamberlain Avenue. They say the crash involved two vehicles and a New Jersey Transit bus.
A utility pole was damaged during the crash, causing multiple wires to hang precariously low and interfere with traffic flow.
A portion of Route 35 was closed during the Tuesday morning rush as crews made emergency repairs.
One person was hurt and taken to the hospital for treatment. No one on the NJ Transit bus was injured.
Police say that the driver of one of the vehicles was issued a traffic violation.
