Fire guts home in Hudson County; injures reported
An overnight fire in Hudson County left a home gutted, officials said. The fire started just before midnight Monday on Gray Street in Jersey City. Early reports from the scene indicated that one person was hurt, and two Hudson County sheriff officers were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Police dispatch also called for the Red Cross to respond to the scene. No additional details were immediately available.
