Today is day 5 of the Paterson water main break, but there are positive news as crews have isolated the leak.
The boil water advisory continues for over 200,000 residents affected in Paterson, Haledon, North Haledon and Prospect Park. Residents are asked to boil the water for at least one minute before consumption.

A news conference is scheduled for later this morning to, hopefully, give some good news on when this situation will come to an end.

Date & Time: Beginning at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12 until supplies last
Location: Corner of North 8th Street and Oxford Street, Paterson
Requirement: Proof of residency in Haledon, North Haledon, Paterson or Prospect Park
  • Comfort Station:
In partnership with the City of Paterson, portable bathrooms and showers are being provided for residents without water. Portable toilets and four mobile shower units are up and running at Kennedy High School.
