Major water main break disrupts township offices and roads in West Windsor

Water service has been restored in Montvale following a water main break Thursday morning.

The break happened on Madison Avenue.

Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali posted a video on Facebook showing the damage. He also posted photos of himself with some town children, explaining how water pipes break.

Ghassali said that all repairs have been made and that water pressure has resumed as normal by 5 p.m.

The mayor said that the roadway would need to be repaved following the water pipe repairs.
