Investigators are probing a deadlysmall plane crash in southern Ocean County.Two people died and two others were seriously hurt when theplane went down just before 4 p.m. Saturday near Eagles Nest Airport inEagleswood Township, about 25 miles north of Atlantic City.State police say two people were pronounced dead at the scene,while the other two were flown by helicopter to a nearby hospital.The Cessna 337 Skymaster was registered to a Massachusetts man,but the names of those onboard haven't been disclosed.The plane had taken off from Millville Airport in CumberlandCounty about an hour before the crash occurred.Stephen Williams, director of airports for the Delaware Riverand Bay Authority, which operates the Millville facility, says theplane was flying as part of a federal study of coastal birds andwind currents along the Jersey Shore.
