A New Jersey man has added extra laps to his fitness regimen at Regency Park Nursing Center to ensure his presence on Election Day this Tuesday.
Roger Larre, 105, will be the oldest New Jersey resident to vote in person Nov. 4.
According to his granddaughter, Lourdes Musto, Larre values his right to vote and has never missed an opportunity since becoming a U.S. citizen when he was 80 years old. Larre was a prisoner of war during World War II, but he escaped and moved to Cuba. Fifteen years later, he escaped Cuba and moved to the United States.
Larre did not want to endorse either candidate on the air, but says he plans to vote at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
