A Monmouth County family is breathing a sigh of relief after they say their 10-year-old son was left alone on a plane after they paid for a flight companion.
Logan Albino was traveling to Florida to visit his aunt. The Albino family says they paid an extra $200 for a Frontier Airlines Companion ticket, which was to ensure Logan was tended to once he was on and off the plane.
Logan ended up walking off the plane and getting to baggage claim alone.
In an email, Frontier Airlines apologized saying it would give the family a partial refund and that Logan didn't wait at the designated spot after getting off the plane.
Logan said he got little to no attention on the plane.
"I felt nervous because no one was watching me throughout the time," Logan said. "They were just talking throughout the whole time."
