World War II-style bombs were detonated on a beach in Cape May after the new owners of a home found two bombs buried in their backyard.

World War II-style bombs were detonated on a beach in Cape May after the new owners of a home found two bombs buried in their backyard.
The owners of the place on Elmira Street were landscaping and found the bombs buried in the backyard.            
The Cape May Fire Department and Atlantic City Bomb Squad helped relocate and detonate them around 5:46 p.m. on the beach just east of Madison Avenue.
