Local leaders in Woodland Park celebrated the opening of a new park Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting.

Rifle Camp Park now has a dog park that residents and their pets can enjoy.

"If you take a look at it, you're going to see that it's totally fenced in, we have a small dog park and a large dog park," says County Commissioner Cassandra "Sandi" Lazzara. "We have water fountains, we have leash posts."

The dog park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
