Looking back on the autumn of this year, I think the wind will be the one thing we all remember. Fast-moving storms are getting stuck in the Canadian Maritimes and fair weather is moving in to fill the space. The result is the air getting squeezed and those gusts continue to blow.
Overnight, the winds let up some. It won't be as gusty, but any breeze will make it feel colder at the bus stop or train station in the morning. Dress in layers for comfort.
Tuesday is a nice day that will remind you of December. Mainly sunny and still chilly. Daily high tries to get to 48 degrees. The breeze makes it feel like the upper 30s. Tuesday night, a quick-moving system drops out of western New York with some intermittent wet weather. There might - with a lot of meteorological help - be a brief changeover to a wintry mix. There won’t be much accumulation or major impact. It'll just be pretty if indeed it happens.
Wednesday and Thursday will see sun and clouds, with daytime highs in the upper 40s.
Friday looks intriguing. Temperatures warm back up to the low and mid-50s. Seasonable, but it comes with wet weather throughout the day. On-and-off rain for most of Friday, but the sun is back for Saturday and Sunday.
