Snow fell in parts of New Jersey on Wednesday as winter weather made an early appearance.
“We’re trying to do the best we can,” said Tyler Jones in Morristown. “It’s a typical getting ready for winter in New Jersey.”
Thunderbolt 12 spotted snow at the Netcong train station.
“New Jersey Transit is on time, so I’m on my way into the office,” said Fred Cooper, of Budd Lake. “Hopefully I’ll get to be on time into the office.”
The flakes only accumulated on grass while roads were wet from snow, rain and a wintry mix in northern areas of the state.
“It’s not bad, just got to watch the way people drive,” said Ray Winners in Blairstown. “They don’t drive so well and that’s the problem.”
Residents said they are preparing for winter.
“Generally, we are not sure what to anticipate,” said Sampson Dwomoh, of Budd Lake. “But they should be safe and drive cautiously.”
