Wind is whipping up across New Jersey as some gusts begin to pick up on Christmas Eve.
The winds are beginning to pick up, but News 12 meteorologists say it will get worse overnight.
Even though the Center for Disease Control says people should not travel for Christmas, people were out on the road on Main Street in Belmar despite the winds beginning to pick up also.
Debris, some leaves and branches also started to fly around due to the winds.
New Jersey is under a wind advisory until 10 a.m. Christmas Day.
