For the first time since late last year, all lanes on Interstate 80 in Wharton are open to traffic for a weekday morning commute.

NJDOT opened all lanes on Saturday, four days ahead of schedule.

This morning, commuters can finally leave for work at what was once their normal time knowing they won't have to detour because of work to repair sinkholes which caused the issue to begin with back in December.

Local business owners can also get back to their normal routines and hopefully begin trying to make up for lost money because of customers who were the lost the past 7 months from constant detours.
