For the first time since late last year, all lanes on Interstate 80 in Wharton were open to traffic for a weekday morning commute.

NJDOT opened all lanes on Saturday, four days ahead of schedule.

Commuters were finally able to leave for work at what was once their normal time knowing they won't have to detour because of work to repair sinkholes which caused the issue to begin with back in December.

The reopening also means local business owners can get back to their normal routines and begin trying to make up for lost money after losing customers the past seven months due to constant detours.
