Jersey City PATH riders are getting new TAPP cards as the system begins a major upgrade.
The 117-year-old PATH system is replacing MetroCards, which end Dec. 31, officials said.
Port Authority is introducing cloud-based reloadable cards and more user-friendly vending machines for a simpler commute.
Starting today, these machines will be available in all stations.
