Wharton businesses temporarily without power following fire

Businesses were left without power Sunday morning after a structure fire occurred nearby.
Wharton Police responded to reports of a structure fire along 42 North Main Street around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
The Wharton Fire Department extinguished the fire with the help of nearby fire departments.
Wharton Police say no injuries were reported from the fire.
The building that housed a local business sustained significant damage and will be closed until further notice.
Local businesses in the area were without power for a portion of the day. North Main Street was closed for a few hours to allow fire personnel to fight the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Wharton Police Department.
