Westfield police sent a warning to residents Friday after an uptick in car thefts.
Over the last 30 days, five cars were reported stolen. One was stolen Christmas Day, police say. High-end cars have been targeted.
Police remind residents to always secure your homes and cars, immediately report any suspicious activity or stolen cars and never confront suspects.
