Some parks and roads along the Hudson River were closed Monday night due to Macy's annual fireworks show in New York City.
Officials said that closing the parks was an attempt to prevent a large number of people from trying to watch the show, which is on the East River again this year.
West New York and Weehawken parks closed at 6 p.m.
Several years ago the Macy's fireworks were held on the Hudson River, allowing spectators in New Jersey to view them.
