The annual Wildwoods Loves Waddlers Baby Waddle Contest brought out the tiniest competitors Tuesday for a fun-filled race to the finish.

Tots aged 24 months and younger showed off their crawling and waddling skills in hopes of winning the titles of Crawl Winner and Waddle Winner.

Akira Carter, 21 months, from Vineland, was named Waddle Winner. Arely Joyce Penugonda, 10 months, from Philadelphia, took home the Crawl Winner title.

The event serves as a prequel to the historic Wildwoods Baby Parade, which returns today for its 115th year along the Wildwoods Boardwalk.
