Temperatures are in the 60s and 70s across the Garden State area.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures should stay cool for the majority of the day.
Cloud coverage is expected to increase, followed by rain for Friday.
There is also a possibility of some thunderstorms developing.
The rain is expected to be out of the area by Saturday morning.
