Wednesday across New Jersey was a perfect spring day. Temperatures peaked in the low 70s for most areas of the state.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures are expected to cool to the mid-40s overnight.
Thursday should stay mostly sunny, but cooler than Wednesday, with high temperatures in the high 50s to low 60s. Clouds could develop during the overnight hours leading to rain on Friday.
Friday should see temperatures in the mid to high 60s, but with scattered rain storms.
The weekend is expected to be warm, but cloudy. Rain could develop for early next week.
