Snow fell in New Jersey on the first official day of spring.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says winter weather advisories should last until early Saturday morning.
Most of the snow accumulation was expected to be on the colder surfaces.
Roads and sidewalks are expected to be very slushy. This could cause icing problems as temperatures drop overnight.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly clear with warmer temperatures.
