High temperatures Tuesday were in the mid-80s and are expected to cool into the evening.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says clouds have begun to form around the state and that could give way to scattered rainstorms.
The overnight hours are expected to stay mostly cloudy. Light rain showers are also possible throughout the night. Temperatures could cool to below 60 degrees.
Wednesday should be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. Temperatures will remain cool at about 65 degrees.
Skies are expected to clear up by Thursday with high temperatures near 80 degrees. The sunshine is expected to stick around through the weekend.
