After a partly cloudy day across the state, most of New Jersey will see rain for the rest of the day.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says the rain is expected to continue through the overnight hours. She says it should be done by Wednesday's morning commute.
Parts of the state could see up to 1 inch of rain. The rain coupled with melting snow could lead to flooding in some areas.
Temperatures across the state were mostly in the low to mid-50s. Overnight temperatures are expected to cool slightly.
Wednesday should be partly cloudy with temperatures in the 50s. Thursday is expected to cool slightly with mostly clear skies.
